About Me

I’m Ibrahim Thekkumkara, a Bangalore-based UX Designer with over 12 years of experience in user experience design, research, and front-end development. I hold a degree in Multimedia and Communication and an MBA in Information Technology and Systems Management from NMIMS Mumbai. My design foundation was built at a reputed institute in Kerala, where I developed expertise in color, imagery, iconography, interaction flow, and user-centered design principles.

My expertise spans UX design, user research, interaction design, product design, information architecture, usability testing, and UI development. Over the years, I have transformed complex problems into simple, intuitive, and engaging applications that balance aesthetics with usability.

What defines me most is not only my professional experience but also my journey. I grew up in a small village in Kerala, in a humble family background. I started working at the age of 15 in small shops — from selling vegetables to helping in hotels and petrol pumps — before moving to Calicut to pursue my education, and later to Bangalore to begin my career in design. Through hard work, resilience, and continuous learning, I built a strong foundation in design and technology, which eventually led to opportunities with global companies and recognition for my work.

I am passionate about visualizing concepts, refining user journeys, and creating designs that are not only beautiful but also highly functional. My background in both design and development helps me bridge creativity with technical feasibility, ensuring solutions that work seamlessly for users.

I strongly believe in collaboration across UX, product, and engineering teams to craft experiences that are both user-centric and business-aligned. My commitment to quality, attention to detail, and a mindset shaped by perseverance continue to guide my career and design philosophy.
